Fragilefoot sighed. "Yes, I know, Burningsong. I will take charge of the clan for a few days, and we can begin rebuilding. Maybe Aquastar will show up. But if she doesn't, then it looks like I'm going to the Moonstone." The tiny cat mentally cringed, she didn't think she could handle the responsibility.
All of a sudden, a farmiliar scent reached her nose, and she heard Goldenpaw speaking. She swung around, and saw Soulpaw, another apprentice! Fragilefoot ran toward the young cat happily. "Soulpaw, I thought we were the only survivors!" she mewed, giving the cat a rough but caring lick on the head.

*I.C. Burningsong turns and a faint smile tugs at his mouth as he sees Soulpaw. But his mind is preoccupied with thoughts of rebuilding the camp. The tom starts mentally searching for places to find the correct materials for the torn walls, and for the broken nursery and elder's den walls. Not that we'll need those for awhile. Burningsong cringes at the thought.*

Fragilefoot let out a yowl to capture the attention of her clan. "Cats of EarthClan, I fear that Aquastar may be dead." she announced. "In three days' time, I will travel to Highstones to recieve my nine lives and become EarthClan's leader. I will take only Goldenpaw. Moonwing, Burningsong, and Soulpaw, you will have to hunt and protect the camp. I am leaving Burningsong in charge when I leave." she said, nodding approvingly at the tom. "The camp will need to be rebuilt ASAP. We should start with the apprentice and warrior dens. Then we can do the leader's den, and we can rebuild the elder, medicine cat, and nursery last."

*I.C. Burningsong's whiskers twitch in surprise as the she-cat announces him in charge while she's gone, but he nods and inspects the damage of the Apprentice's den. Turning back to the deputy, the tom speaks up, "Fragilefoot, we probably shouldn't leave the camp alone, do you think we should assign partners?"*
*I.C. Goldenpaw can't help doing a little jump of joy as Fragilefoot says she'll take him when she goes to the Glitter caves. He had heard about the caves, but had never actually been there.... I wonder if they really glitter, he muses to himself.*

Fragilefoot nodded. "Good idea. Since Goldenpaw is coming with me, he'll be my partner. Soulpaw, and Burningsong, you can be partners. As for Moonwing..." she mewed, "Since there are no warriors to be partnered with Mooniwing, then she can ask Soulpaw or Burningsong to go with her when she hunts. No cat is to be in the camp alone, and no apprentice can go out without a warrior."

*I.C. Burningsong nods, glancing over at Soulpaw. "Alright partner, ready to get to work?" The tom walks towards the camp entrance, looking over his shoulder to see if Soulpaw's following or not.*
*I.C. Should we start work on the Warrior's den? The apprentice tom asks, blinking questioningly up at Fragilefoot.*

*I.C. Even though, looking at the devestation, Goldenpaw feels a wave of sadness, he still cannot quell his kittish excitement at the prospect of sleeping in the Warrior's den. He leaps just outside the Clan wall, grabbing twigs and dragging them back inside the camp. He carefully arranges them in a pile, his bright inquisitive eyes turning their gaze upon Fragilefoot. "We should get some briars too, but those are farther outside camp, so I can't just run out and get them, since I'm an apprentice and apprentices need a warrior to go with them when they leave camp and...." He trails off, looking back down at the pile of twigs and voicing his opinions, as per usual, "It's an awfully small pile isn't it?" He looks up at the den. "It's going to take a lot of work to fix I suppose." He says it very matter-of-factly, as if not any cat could look at the den and realize that.*
